Features and technology advantages of Jaw Crusher
Jaw crusher is also known as slot crusher. Crusher consisting of two jaw plates, movable jaw and static jaw, simulates the movement of two jaws of animals to complete the crushing operation of materials. It is widely used for crushing various ores and bulk materials in mining smelting, building materials, highways, railways, water conservancy and chemical industries. The maximum compressive strength of crushed materials is 320Mpa.
Jaw crusher is always used with cone crusher, impact crusher and sand maker to constitute the sandstone production line. Jaw crusher can be pided into PE series and PEX series, of which the PE jaw crusher is used for coarse crushing, and PEX jaw crusher for medium and fine crushing.
Applications of Jaw Crusher
Jaw crusher is mainly used to reduce the size of various materials. Coarse crushing, medium crushing and fine crushing are all available, the first two of which are the major functions. Jaw crusher can be applied to crush more than 200 kinds of hard and soft ore or stones with less than 300MPa compressive strength. The applied materials are commonly like pebble, calcite, granite, quartz, concrete, dolomite, bluestone, iron ore, limestone, coal gangue, construction waste, ferrosilicon, basalt, sandstone, cement clinker, etc. It is mainly used for the medium and fine crushing of hard ores and rocks in metallurgy industry, mine industry, chemical industry, cement industry, construction industry, refractory materials industry and ceramic industry and other sectors.

Working principle of Jaw Crusher
The working part of the jaw crusher consists of two jaw plates. One is the fixed jaw plate (fixed jaw), which is vertically (or slightly outwardly inclined at the upper end) fixed on the front wall of the machine body, and the other is the movable jaw plate (movable jaw), which is inclined in position and forms a crushing chamber (working chamber) with the fixed jaw plate. The movable jaw makes periodic reciprocating movement towards the fixed jaw, sometimes separating and sometimes approaching. When separating, the materials enter the crushing chamber and the finished products are discharged from the lower part; When approaching, the materials installed between the two jaw plates will be crushed due to extrusion, bending and splitting.
