Steel slag is a by-product of steelmaking process. It is composed of various oxides oxidized by impurities such as silicon, manganese, phosphorus and sulfur in pig iron and salts formed by the reaction of these oxides with solvents. Raw materials are transported to jaw crusher for primary crushing. The materials from jaw crusher are transported to cone crusher for secondary crushing. There is a magnetic separator in front of cone crusher to remove iron and a magnetic separator behind cone crusher to remove steel chips in slag.
