Introduction of Cooling Machine
Single barrel cooler is a cooling device composed of a rotating cylinder. It is mainly used for cooling high-temperature clinker burnt in rotary kiln. The machine has simple structure and reliable operation. It is used to cool clinker such as clay, magnesia and sintered dolomite in the rotary kiln system of refractory industry. The single-barrel cooler is one of the main equipment of the rotary kiln production system, with simple structure, good stability and reliable operation.

Applications of Cooling Machine
The cooling machine is mainly used for cooling clinker, slag, limestone, coal and clay in the building materials industry, metallurgy industry, chemical industry, cement industry, etc. The single-cylinder cooling machine is one of the important equipment in the rotary kiln system, which is to cool the clinker (1000-1300℃) from the rotary kiln to below 200℃ and to improve the quality of the clinker.
Features of Cooling Machine
1. The clinker discharged from rotary kiln (1000-1200 ℃) can realize full heat exchange with the air by the rotating cylinder, so that the material is cooled to (200 ℃), while improving the quality and grindability of clinker,
2. All the air generated after the cooling of materials can enter into the kiln as the secondary air circulation, so as to improve the thermal efficiency of furnace.

Working principle of Cooling Machine

The dry wet material is sent to the hopper by the belt conveyor or bucket elevator, and then enters the feeding end through the feeding pipe through the feeder of the hopper. The material is added from the higher end, and the heat carrier flows out from the lower end, making countercurrent contact with the material. There are also heat carriers and materials flowing into the cylinder together. As the cylinder rotates, the material moves to the lower end under the action of gravity. When the wet material moves forward in the cylinder, it directly or indirectly gets the heat from the heat carrier to cool the hot material, and then it is sent out through the belt conveyor or screw conveyor at the discharge end. A plate is installed on the inner wall of the cylinder. Its function is to copy and scatter the material, so as to increase the contact surface between the material and the air flow, so as to improve the cooling rate and promote the material forward. The cooling body is generally divided into cold air, etc.
