Features and technology advantages of Ceramic (Intermittent) Ball Mill
Ceramic ball mill is also called chinaware ball mill, which is a kind of grinding equipment for grinding special kinds of materials. For example, during the production process of ceramic products, raw materials need to be ground by the ball mill, but the ordinary ball mill may cause pollution to the materials.
Because the steel balls will produce fine iron during the grinding process, the grinding efficiency is high and the metal material is not allowed, so it must use ceramic ball mill.
Applications of Ceramic (Intermittent) Ball Mill
Ceramic ball mill uses ceramic liner. Its cylinder is filled with ceramic balls. Ceramic ball mill is mainly used to grind ceramics, gypsum, quartz, and other non-metallic materials. Because of high purity requirements of these raw materials, the ceramic ball mill cannot use normal grinding balls.

Working principle of Ceramic (Intermittent) Ball Mill
Ceramic ball mill mainly grinds materials by the impaction and grinding from the media to the materials. And it usually works with the following equipment like a spiral classifier.
The details of the process are as follows,
1. The grinding cylinder is driven to rotate by the motor through the transmission device. The grinding media and materials are taken to a certain height by the liner plate under the action of friction force and centrifugal force and then fall down due to the action of gravity.
2. The ore is gradually crushed under the impact and grinding effect, and the milled ore is discharged out of the cylinder and then sent into the spiral classifier for separation. Qualified products are sent to next process and disqualified products are returned to the ball mill for another grinding.
